SparkCalc Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Summary

SparkCalc is a local-first calculator app. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, and it works entirely offline.

Data collection

Local data

The app stores only local data on your device:

Advertising

SparkCalc is free with advertising served by Google AdMob. AdMob is Google's advertising service; it may collect device identifiers and use advertising ID data to serve and measure ads, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can reset or limit the advertising ID on your device (Android Settings → Privacy → Ads).

Purchases

Removing ads uses Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment; SparkCalc itself receives no payment details. The purchase state is stored locally on your device and via your Google Play account (for restore on reinstalls).

Children

The app is a general utility and is not directed at children. It contains no user-generated content.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the app evolves; the current version will always be linked from the Play Store listing.

Feedback

The Feedback screen lets users send feedback or feature requests. The message is composed on-device and sent through the user's own email app (a mailto: link) — SparkCalc itself never transmits or stores it. The email includes the app version and device model so reports are actionable. Users provide a contact email only if they choose to.

This means: no feedback data is collected by SparkCalc; we only receive what a user voluntarily sends to the support inbox.
